Legal firm goes back to school to help recruits

Legal firm goes back to school to help recruits

Wayman & Long is delighted to be embarking on a new venture helping students at Thomas Gainsborough School. The practice will help those students interested in the law with their studies, offering advice and guidance – and possibly a job in the future.

A team of five people from Wayman & Long, including two solicitors and its head of conveyancing, will mentor the sixth formers and hopefully younger students in future.

Partner, Stephen Whiskin, commented: “We hope to mentor and sponsor keen students, offering practical work placements with a view to permanent positions within the company.”

Kenny Alexander, director of the school’s sixth form, said: “It is an exciting opportunity for students, staff and parents which I am sure will develop into a very successful long-term partnership.”
